Questions
Common questions
Can TraceVeil be used to make credit decisions about individuals?
No. TraceVeil is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used as a factor in credit decisions about individuals. It's for verifying businesses and researching publicly associated principals.
Is this a KYB replacement?
It covers registry verification and principal research with an evidence trail. Regulated KYB/AML programs usually also need sanctions screening and document verification, which TraceVeil doesn't provide.
How fast is a lookup?
Most resolutions finish in a few minutes. Reports update live while they run, and a webhook can notify your system when they complete.
What if the state registry is down?
The resolution stops with a clear message and the credits are refunded automatically.
The answer is in the record.
Credits start at $10. No subscription required.
