Webhooks & integrations

Results that arrive where you work.

TraceVeil posts signed events to your endpoint when resolutions and bulk batches complete, so results flow into your systems automatically.

Sound familiar?

Polling for status

Checking back until a job finishes wastes requests and time.

Unverified callbacks

An endpoint that accepts any POST is an attack surface.

Copy-paste integration

Moving results by hand doesn't scale.

How TraceVeil helps

What you get in every report.

Event types

Resolution completed and bulk batch completed.

Signed and timestamped

Each request carries an HMAC signature over the timestamp and body, so you can verify it and reject replays.

Safe delivery

Endpoints are validated against private-network addresses and redirects aren't followed.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add an endpoint

    Settings → Integrations.

  2. 2

    Verify signatures

Check the HMAC with your signing secret.

  3. 3

    Receive events

    Process results as they complete.

Questions

Common questions

How do I verify a webhook?

Compute an HMAC-SHA256 of “timestamp.body” with your signing secret and compare it to the v1 value in the signature header; reject old timestamps to prevent replays.

Which events are available?

Resolution completed and skip-trace batch completed.

Can webhooks reach internal addresses?

No. For safety, endpoints resolving to private or reserved networks are rejected.

Is there a REST API?
